Note: Odento is primarily a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. This shipping policy applies to physical products such as dental equipment, hardware devices, and merchandise purchased through our marketplace or direct sales.

1. Scope of Shipping

This policy covers the following physical items:

  • Dental chairs and equipment manufactured by Odento
  • Tablets and hardware devices for clinic management
  • Barcode scanners and label printers
  • Dental supplies and consumables from our marketplace
  • Branded merchandise and promotional materials

2. Shipping Zones

2.1 Domestic Shipping (India)

We ship to all states and union territories of India:

  • Metro Cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad
  • Tier 1 Cities: All state capitals and major cities
  • Tier 2/3 Cities: District headquarters and towns
  • Remote Areas: May require additional delivery time

2.2 International Shipping

Currently, we ship dental equipment and hardware to select international markets. Please contact our sales team at export@odento.com for international shipping quotes.

4. Delivery Time

4.1 Standard Delivery

  • Metro Cities: 2-4 business days
  • Tier 1 Cities: 3-5 business days
  • Tier 2/3 Cities: 5-7 business days
  • Remote Areas: 7-14 business days

4.2 Express Delivery

Available for select products at additional cost:

  • Metro Cities: Next business day (₹500 extra)
  • Other Cities: 1-2 business days (₹800 extra)

4.3 Dental Equipment Installation

  • Delivery: 4-6 weeks from order confirmation
  • Installation: Scheduled within 3 business days of delivery
  • Training: 2-4 hours of on-site training included

5. Order Processing

  • Order Confirmation: You will receive an email within 2 hours of placing your order
  • Processing Time: Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days
  • Shipping Notification: You'll receive tracking information via email and SMS
  • Real-time Tracking: Track your order through our dashboard or mobile app

6. Shipping Partners

We work with trusted logistics partners to ensure safe and timely delivery:

  • Blue Dart - Express delivery services
  • DTDC - Standard and economy shipping
  • Delhivery - Pan-India coverage
  • FedEx - International shipping
  • Specialized freight partners for dental equipment

7. Delivery Attempt Policy

  • First Attempt: Delivery attempted at the provided address
  • Second Attempt: If unsuccessful, a second attempt within 24 hours
  • Third Attempt: Final delivery attempt or arranged at customer's request
  • Failed Delivery: After 3 failed attempts, the order is returned to our warehouse
  • Return Shipping: Customer bears the cost of reshipment after failed delivery

8. Packaging

We take great care in packaging your items:

  • Double-layered corrugated boxes for fragile items
  • Bubble wrap and foam padding for electronics
  • Tamper-evident sealing tape
  • Weather-resistant packaging for monsoon season
  • Eco-friendly packaging materials whenever possible

9. Damaged or Lost Shipments

9.1 Damaged Items

If you receive a damaged item:

  1. Take photos of the damaged item and packaging
  2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at shipping@odento.com
  3. We will arrange for a replacement or refund
  4. No return shipping cost for damaged items

9.2 Lost Shipments

If your order doesn't arrive:

  • Wait 2 business days beyond the estimated delivery date
  • Contact us with your order number
  • We will investigate with our shipping partner
  • Replacement or refund processed within 7 business days

10. Address Changes

  • Address changes can be made within 2 hours of order placement
  • Contact us immediately at support@odento.com
  • Once shipped, address changes may incur additional charges
  • Ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate

11. Customs and Duties (International)

For international shipments:

  • Customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient
  • Delivery times may vary due to customs clearance
  • Some countries may have import restrictions on dental equipment
  • We provide all necessary documentation for customs clearance
